About Us

Vitae Consulting was established in 2003 by Anne Hennessy to fulfil a growing need for Team and Personal development facilitation and professional career counselling at various life stages.

Anne Hennessy, BA, MA Occupational Psychology, Dip PR, Level A&B BPS

With over 15 years experience Anne has worked in a number of different industries including Manufacturing, Software, Financial Services and the Educational Sector. She has extensive experience of working with psychometric instruments for both assessment, development – individual and team - career counseling and outplacement.

Through Mental Health Systems (MHS) Anne has qualified as one of a small number of Psychologists in Ireland who is trained to deliver Certification Programmes in BarOn’s Emotional Intelligence Tool (BarOn EQ-i). Anne has been retained by the Irish Management Institute (IMI) to deliver the EQI accreditation as part of the Diploma in Executive Coaching. She has also accredited a number of IMI Management Specialists in the tool.

Over the years Anne has developed a close working relationship with Oxford Psychologists Press (OPP) and is a member of their European Faculty. On behalf of OPP Anne delivers the MBTI Step I and Step II qualifying workshops in addition to specialist MBTI workshops. In addition she also delivers the 16pf qualifying workshop and the BPS recognised Level B programme. She has delivered qualifying workshops across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Anne’s experience with organisations includes both SMEs and multinationals, from start ups to assisting in restructuring initiatives. She has also worked with various organisations providing outplacement services and transition workshops.

Anne also lectures in University College Cork with the Department of Applied Psychology on both undergraduate and post graduate courses.

Vitae Consulting have been retained by organisations to work on projects throughout Ireland, in the UK and in mainland / continental Europe.

As projects arise Vitae Consulting works with its experienced and professional associates located throughout Ireland.

The majority of our associates are occupational psychologists, but we also utilise the skills of finance professionals, and experienced business and management consultants. All our associates share a common philosophy: to help organisations work towards their visions; and to help individuals maximise their potential and achieve their goals.
